2004 Central Kansas Quilt Shop Hop was a great success! Nearly 1200
people came through the store in 2 1/2 days!
We sold more than 500 block kits for our shop's
block (second block down in the center of the quilt).
You can purchase our wonderful pattern for setting
12 ten-inch blocks to make a queen size quilt as pictured at left. Check
out Charlotte's pattern, "Starring 12". You
missed this Hop? We've put together a
kit so you can make this quilt with 9" sampler blocks that
will look very similar to the quilt pictured here, same border fabrics,
etc. This quilt appears far
more complicated than it actually is to make. Each block is set on
point and corners are added to enlarge the block. Simply adding star
"points" to each sashing to match the setting stones make a
wonderful "starry" secondary pattern. This queen-size
quilt could easily be enlarge to fit a king-size bed as well.
There were lots of prizes donated by
vendors as well as purchased by the Central Kansas Quilt Shop
Hop store owners to be given away by the group. The 2004
