Hi all!

In this Valentine season, I wish that you may all feel some extra love!  We certainly do!

Look at this beautiful bouquet sent by a long-time customer and friend of the store.  You'd think her florist was designing it to go with Mary's little quilt. Even the ribbon matches perfectly!  It made our day!

This is a big weekend in the downtown store.

This is SECOND SATURDAY and I'll be introducing the second sampler block in our newest series, KALEIDOSCOPE SYMPHONY.  Please feel free to join us.

My presentation is FREE and starts promptly at 9 a.m.  Click here for more details.

Tomorrow we're starting another new SAMPLER QUILT, our 2nd annual REPRODUCTION CIVIL WAR ERA quilt, using brand new Marcus Fabrics, authentic to the period.

Civil War Chronicles -  The class will meet monthly on the 2nd Saturday at 10:30.  Class starts tomorrow, February 12th.

The Civil War Chronicles BOM quilt features twelve blocks that tell the stories of twelve women who encountered their own struggles on the home front while their husbands were away.

Each pattern includes historical background and biographies about the generals' wives.

The block patterns include many new features over last year's pattern series, including finished sizes for individual units within the blocks, color diagrams, and more quick-trick piecing techniques.  As usual, Mary will add her own tips & tricks.

If you'd like some encouragement and help, consider joining any of our classes or clubs.

If you live somewhere near "wilderness", you may be familiar with some of these

Artist Rod Frederick has captured the wild beauty of these birds and their natural setting.  The fabric is printed with beautiful detail, and our featured quilt, using these fabrics, is charming.

Remember when I teased you with this picture shortly after I returned from Fall QUILT MARKET?

The wait is finally over.

FIFI & FIDO are finally here!  Check out ANNA GRIFFIN'S newest, cutest, cat & dog fabric.

Great features & coordinates for a total of 12 fabrics.

Mary has been working up all these other designer's small quilts, and she was inspired to create her own design!

The only way to get the instructions is to order Mary's kit featuring gorgeous Hoffman fabrics.

Are they SHAMROCKS or CLOVER?  Just learned that the term "shamrock" derives from the Irish word, seamrog, which translates as "little clover."  So I guess maybe BOTH!  LOL

Celebrating Spring and St. Patrick's Day, this little quilt fits perfectly on the wire hangers, or lays flat on a table or can be pinned to the wall.  Or slip a pillow in and cheer up a chair!
