Speaking of creative juices, I just finished a new wall quilt called ASIAN ODYSSEY, designed by Diane McGregor. I liked the design, but when I got to the appliqué circles, I was reminded of "moons", which led me to "moon over mountain", a classic old quilt block, and next thing I knew, I was cutting wedges out of my circles which totally changed the design! I started with a custom assortment of 10-inch SQUARES which we cut from some of our ASIAN FABRICS.
